National Food, Farming and Natural Environment Competition

Resources and projects
An immersive and highly technical weekend on a working farm for your year 9 to 11 students is up for grabs in this year's National Food, Farming and Natural Environment Competition.

LEAF Education, in partnership with Reaseheath College, Nantwich, Cheshire, has launched its fifth annual National Food, Farming and Natural Environment Competition.

The competition is a key part of LEAF Education’s work as the lead agri-education organisation in England and Wales, to motivate and inspire the next generation of young people to become involved in the agri-food industry.

This year’s competition once again aims to engage secondary school students with farming, food production and the natural environment. The successful schools will win a fully funded, immersive and highly technical weekend on the college farm experiencing practical, hands-on farming, while also delving into the science and technology involved in the whole supply chain – from food production to processing and packaging.
