I am passionate about using my voice and lived experience to help inspire autistic people to be confident in who they are and embrace their identity, while also educating professionals so that they can improve and develop how they engage with and support children and young people with SEND.

In this article, I will introduce some of my personal experiences as an autistic person and discuss in more detail some key points that can help you to better support autistic students.

I will also provide advice and tips for making communication accessible and inclusive, supporting you to communicate and engage effectively with children and young people who have SEND, including those who are autistic or neurodiverse.
