Ofsted inspection experts to deliver Pupil Premium keynote

A double dose of Ofsted expertise is on offer to delegates at SecEd’s Second National Pupil Premium and Ofsted conference later this month.

After its successful inaugural event earlier this year, the conference – entitled Ensuring Successful Outcomes – is hosting yet more school-led case study workshops and best practice discussions.

Taking place on Friday, September 26, at Maple House in central Birmingham, the event offers access to a number of inspection and Pupil Premium experts. And the early bird booking discount of 10 per cent is still available until close of play tomorrow (Friday, September 5).

And for the keynote opening session, we can now confirm that two Ofsted experts will update delegates in a joint presentation before then running a tailored inspection workshop.

The experts – Justine McNeillie and John Taylor – are both school inspectors who work on behalf of Ofsted and they will speak about what the inspectorate wants to see from schools, both specifically on the Pupil Premium and more generally as well.
