This year’s Anti-Bullying Week theme, Power for Good, is all about empowering young people to speak out, offer support, and take action to combat bullying.
Children and young people can break the cycle of bullying when they are supported to speak out and stand up together. This campaign will remind us all that we each have the power to make a difference.
Here follows some ways you can get your school staff and pupils involved:
Kick off with Odd Socks Day
The week will begin with the much-loved Odd Socks Day on Monday, November 10. There’s no need for fancy costumes or the latest fashion – just wear your odd socks and join in the fun. Schools and workplaces are invited to ask participants for a small donation to support the Anti-Bullying Alliance’s efforts.
