Achieving anything quickly and effectively in schools is like gold dust, especially with the increasing demands being placed on the safeguarding and pastoral teams.

However, one thing that we have to get right is assessing, analysing, and discerning a student’s needs and then acting in a timely manner and with the right support.

I don’t need to tell you that in safeguarding work achieving this isn’t always as possible as we’d like, with many factors sometimes hindering our efforts or delaying our processes.
