Teachers and students interested in getting on the grid for the 2018/19 season of the F1 in Schools global education challenge can now register online.

F1 in Schools is a STEM challenge that also develops students’ confidence through team-work and verbal presentations.

There are three levels of competition depending on your time, budget and ability. At the entry level the basic rules and regulations are designed for a low-cost, time-efficient competition, appropriate for younger students and schools new to the programme. The Development and Professional classes build on the foundations of the Entry class with scope for students to explore design and engineering in greater depth.

Schools can run the competition as a stand-alone activity and there are also opportunities for students to compete with 11 regional finals events held across the UK. Successful teams from these events progress to the National Finals and the top teams can then take on winners from overseas F1 in Schools programmes at the World Finals in 2019.
