The two education unions behind the Schools Cuts website have recalculated their predictions for school funding following the publication of proposals for a new National Funding Formula by the Department for Education (DfE).
Last year, the National Union of Teachers (NUT) and the Association of Teachers and Lecturers (ATL) launched the Schools Cuts website to show how funding is set to change between now and 2019/20.
The predictions were based on early theories of how funding would be reformed as well as the impact of increased costs for schools, such as inflation and increased pension and National Insurance contributions.
The calculations have now been updated in light of the publication of the government’s detailed proposals for school funding.
