It has been 10 years since MP John Bercow carried out his independent review of provision for children and young people with speech, language and communication needs (SLCN) and this crucial area of SEN is to provide the theme for the 2019 Tes SEN Show.
The event takes place in London on October 4 and 5 and the keynote speech and panel debate will focus on the follow up report, Bercow: Ten years on, which looks at what has been achieved and what is still to be done since the original review.
The report has been published by I CAN, the children’s communication charity, and the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists and the keynote will be delivered by I CAN chief Bob Reitemeier.
