A set of teacher and student resources, including a series of digital art reproductions, has been published by the Royal Shakespeare Company in conjunction with Adobe.

The digital art includes depictions of Shakespeare’s best-loved and most-studied scenes and characters re-imagined for the modern day using genres such as illustration, comic book artistry and photography.

Adobe and the RSC have worked with fantasy photographer Rosie Hardy, comic book artist Amrit Birdi, conceptual artist Darryll Jones, digital artist Jack Teagle, and illustrator Octavia Bromell to put their own twists on scenes from Romeo & Juliet, Macbeth and A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

The free resources also include creative techniques and ideas designed to complement the RSC’s rehearsal room approach to teaching Shakespeare.
