Professional Learning Passport launched for teachers in Wales

CPD Teaching staff
Teachers across Wales can now get online access to new education resources organised by the Education Workforce Council (EWC).

The new Professional Learning Passport has been created by the EWC as an “exclusive online portfolio” designed to aid education professionals with their professional learning.

The passport, which is available through the ewc.wales website and which is funded by the Welsh government, contains useful links to resources such as Hwb, Hwb+ and Learning Wales. It allows teachers to upload documents, presentations, photos, audio and video files to assist with their reflective learning.

NQTs in their induction year also have a section dedicated to them so that their mentors can review and reflect on their teaching and learning.

Chair of the EWC Angela Jardine said: “The EWC’s Professional Learning Passport is a one-stop-shop for teachers, lecturers and support staff to record their progress and evaluate their experiences. It’s also a gateway to accessing valuable professional resources from Wales and beyond.
