SecEd is delighted to unveil the line-up for its exciting new online teaching and learning conference, which will offer teachers, middle leaders and senior leaders in secondary schools exclusive access to advice, strategies and tips from our most popular authors and contributors.

Every year SecEd publishes thousands of articles, supplements, podcasts, & webinars – all written by expert teachers and practitioners and all offering practical advice, ideas, and case studies to help you to deliver excellent teaching, learning and pastoral outcomes.

This event will bring together 16 of our most popular contributors, who will deliver a range of practical sessions aimed at supporting classroom teachers, leaders of teaching and learning, and pastoral staff in schools.

From pedagogy & teaching tips to assessment & questioning; from inclusive classrooms & EAL strategies to mental health & growth mindset; from CPD & calm leadership to supporting disadvantaged students & managing workload – this event will offer 16 sessions dedicated to secondary phase teaching and learning across three broad streams:

  1. Delivering teaching (for those working at the chalkface)
  2. Leading teaching (for those leading teaching and teachers in schools)
  3. Removing barriers to learning (for both pastoral and teaching staff)

This online conference takes place over three consecutive afternoons, on Tuesday 9th, Wednesday 10th and Thursday 11th January 2024.

There will also be downloadable handouts and resources from the speakers, access to recordings of all the sessions to view on demand in your own time for up to three months after the event, and a CPD certificate sent to all attendees.
