When considering online learning provision for the vulnerable learners in your care, any potential provider must demonstrate a flexible approach that is sympathetic to the individual circumstance of learners with complex needs.

How can you establish if they are the right organisation to meet those needs? Here are three key factors (of many) that you might consider:

  1. Quality: Experienced, subject specialist teachers, an experienced educational leadership team and comprehensive monitoring, quality assurance and safeguarding processes.
  2. Flexibility: Timetabling options throughout the day in small groups, a systematic approach to enable prevention of further gaps in learning, and additional one-to-one support when needed, at no additional cost.
  3. Financial risk: Low-cost options that allow you to test provision suitability on an individual learner basis with no long-term financial commitment.
