Description: Kingsbrook Business and Enterprise school is an 11-19 mixed comprehensive located in Northamptonshire on the borders of Milton Keynes and Buckinghamshire. We are recruiting for an excellent teacher of Maths, to join the school in September 2010. This is the ideal opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join our brilliant head of mathematics in a forward thinking department. The successful candidate will understand the need for innovation to ensure high quality learning in the mathematics classroom. The department has its own well-resourced and technologically enabled teaching area, complete with an interactive whiteboard in each room. At GCSE students study the Edexcel specification. Results are above the national average for grades A* - C and our current drive, both as a department and whole school is to increase the achievement of students at A and A*. At Key Stage 5 we have a good uptake for AS Mathematics, we currently use the AQA specification. Our school is on an exciting journey to develop highly motivated learners who play a full and active part in our school.
