The SSAT Redesigning Schooling campaign is helping to ensure that the future of education is shaped by high-quality practice and research from within the profession. The campaign is developing and sharing best practice across key areas of education.

A recent series of Redesigning Schooling symposia saw teachers and leading educational thinkers discuss four of these areas – teaching and learning, curriculum design, accountability and professional capital. The conversations at these events are already influencing the practice of school leaders across the country.

This supplement, produced in association with SSAT, looks at the discussions that took place and asks how education and schooling needs to change to meet the needs of 21st century learners. It focuses on each of the four key areas identified above and looks at the next steps for Redesigning Schooling.
