This eight-page SecEd supplement offers a full preview of SSAT's 2012 National Conference – which this year takes the theme of "Innovating Learning".
The conference, on December 4 and 5 in Liverpool, will focus on four key strands of Co-construction, Collaboration, Creativity and Culture and this guide looks at some of the keynote speakers and the implications of their work for UK educators.
We also focus on case studies of their theories and research in practice in the classroom.
Inside the supplement are features on Professor Eric Mazur, creator of the flipped classroom approach, an article by world-renowned educationalist Professor Guy Claxton, and case studies from schools focusing on independent learning skills and risk and challenge in the classroom environment.
